Hello again,
I have been making picture frames for as long as I have been taking photos and restoring them for others. In my over 45 years of experience I have developed tried-and-true techniques that will make your pictures really stand out. I look at each picture as if it were my very best work and give to it the care and thoughtfulness that such deserves. I will always spend the time and effort to compare and test different settings and techniques to achieve the best effect for each picture on an individual basis. I make sure that the picture is perfectly centered on the page.
I then add a soft drop shadow behind the print to give it the appearance of standing off from the page. Titles, such as names, places and dates are then added to the print in a tasteful typeset. The photo is then mounted on a stiff board to keep it from curling. |

Then I choose the matting and matching frame to accentuate the characteristic and color scheme of the picture.
I also do special custom mounts such as stretching canvas, gilded fillets and shadow boxes.
In certain cases, I will use a plaque mount instead of a frame. This gives it a contemporary look with cost savings, but does not make the statement that can be made with a frame. |
